Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Supply Chain Analyst with a strong background in the food industry to support our supply chain operations. This role will focus on optimizing inventory levels, improving supply chain processes, and ensuring that products move efficiently from supplier to end customer. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of food industry dynamics, along with the analytical skills to drive data-based decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement, focusing on efficiency, cost savings, and timely delivery.
- Manage inventory levels, product availability, and replenishment schedules to support high-quality service and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of products and manage any supply chain disruptions.
- Collaborate with demand planning and purchasing teams to create accurate forecasts and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory turnover, lead times, and supplier performance.
- Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain issues and recommend actionable solutions.
- Support product freshness initiatives, ensuring products are delivered in peak condition and monitoring compliance with food safety standards.
- Prepare and present supply chain insights and performance reports for management review.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, preferably within the food industry.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
- Proficiency with supply chain management software (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with inventory management, demand planning, and logistics in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining high standards in product quality.
- Must have food indutry work background.
